Batik Air is an airline based in Malaysia, headquartered in Petaling Jaya. It is a joint venture between National Aerospace and Defence Industries (NADI) (51%) of Malaysia and Lion Air of Indonesia (49%). The name Batik is derived from the names of respective countries: Malaysia and Indonesia. The Airline had launched its operations with four flights a week from Lahore to Kuala Lumpur in the past couple of months. Batik Air also connects its passengers from Kuala Lumpur to onward destinations including Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Katmandu, Perth, Singapore etc. Batik Air provides the following services Wi-Fi on board, video on demand, free baggage allowance, meal in flight, entertainment system etc.

Royal Brunei has the distinction of operating the youngest long haul fleet in the world with the recent deliveries of the Dreamliners.
