Going back in the history of Kashmir Corporation (KCL), it is worth mentioning that after a mere six months in business, the company was appointed General Sales Agent for Pakistan International Airlines — the country's national carrier. KCL was the first local company in the history of Pakistan to be appointed as both GSA and handling agent for the National Carrier.

KCL continued its Passenger/Cargo General Sales Agency and ground handling functions until 1984, when changes in government policy forced the national carrier to resume its own ground handling functions.
